Our Story
Golden Sunshine Siberians represents the newest chapter in a breeding program that began in 2002.
For more than two decades, we have been dedicated to breeding healthy, affectionate, well-socialized Siberians with exceptional temperaments. As our breeding program evolved, so did our interest in the rare and beautiful Sunshine and Sunshine Silver colours. That passion eventually led to the creation of Golden Sunshine Siberians.
Although Golden Sunshine has its own identity, it is built upon the same breeding philosophy that has guided us from the very beginning.
Every breeding decision continues to be based on the principles that have shaped our program for more than twenty years: health first, temperament second, and beauty and breed type third.
Golden Sunshine Siberians focuses exclusively on our Sunshine breeding program, while our original cattery, Mindeelyn Siberians, continues to represent the foundation of our breeding program and our journey since 2002.

Our Breeding Philosophy
At Golden Sunshine Siberians, our passion is the rare and beautiful Sunshine and Sunshine Silver Siberian cat.
While this website focuses on these remarkable colours, every kitten we breed is guided by the same principles that have shaped Mindeelyn Siberians for more than twenty years.
Our priorities have never changed. Health always comes first, followed by temperament. Colour, sex, and appearance are important, but they are never allowed to take precedence over producing healthy, confident, affectionate companions.
Every breeding is carefully planned with the future of our breeding program in mind. We continually evaluate our cats, study pedigrees, and strive to improve with each generation while preserving the wonderful qualities that make the Siberian such an exceptional breed.
We are also committed to selecting for the hypoallergenic qualities for which Siberians are well known, with the hope that more families can experience the joy of being owned by a cat.
